Honestly, I never knew Singaporeans were that Kiasu, till today.

I was very much apalled at the behavior of this particular aunty(more like grandma). I was helping my mom at this.. Potong Pasir Fair thinger. Helping them pack Macdonald goodie bags. EH not bad you know.. Two bucks for a Macdonald happy meal + nuggets and hashbrowns AND toys and highlighter and -- yah. Loads of stuff in the box thing. Then there was this aunty. Common sense would tell you that kids should be the one excited about this kind of goodie bags right. But no, not this group of people. When I reached the place, there was already a long line of people waiting for the goodie bags. THen there was this particular grandma at the front of the line, one of the first ones to be exact. SHe was so impatient la. REALLY KIASU leh. I mean, you got the coupon, no worries, you'll get the bag, for sure. But no... She was just so eager to get the bag, I don't know for what reason. From far I thought she was going to throw a tantrum or something. Cos she kept swinging her hands demanding for the goodie bags. And complaining, saying why our booth has not opened yet. Sheesh. "EH go get scissors la, open the box!" I was there working my butt off with a couple of other teachers and volunteers. That grandma's forever gonna remind me of Kiasuism. oh and after she got the bag, she disappeared. Not a sight of her after that. Funny shit.

Oh and after that, my mom pulled me to go play games. Childish la. But fun. I never knew my mom was that.. how you say.. Crazy. Excited like what la. She was jumping when she couldn't get the ball on the wall. Haha. She was playing this golf game.. Where you have to chip a ball and get it stuck to the velcro wall. Funny thing was, she tried it 3 times, and one of the tries, the kid(may i remind you that most of the people who were playing were kids. And quite a lot of adults, but mostly kids) broke the golf stick, but none of the tries got her a prize. But not me. LOL. I got a prize at my first try when I shot my third shot. hehe. Not bad ah. I think I was the only few who got a prize, a Crush Gear toy thingy. Don't know where I put it already. Oh well.
